After much badgering from her advisors, Empress Tanjansa Nïkhovhen of Velkand finally caves and reaches out to the remaining royal houses of Universalis Prime for a husband. Empress Tanjansa only has a few concerns that the suitor's house must be willing to meet: that the marriage is Matrilineal, that the Dominon of Velkand cannot be passed through inheritance to the suitors royal house, and that they will not gain an alliance unless independent rulers of the country. |

Yule was annoyed by on how Hugo let Tanjansa know they were here. "I'm Yule I think we have before." Yule had met her before to be sure. Especially when the nations held the Science and Technology conference last month as per the treaty. |

Duke Matthias finds somewhere to sit and begins reading "Diskurs des Großen Krieg mit Kanosus", a 19th century novel written by Reginald von Hompkoft himself about the war with Kanosus and the death throws of the Regarchy that came after it. Considering that he has actual need of the monocle he wears, he keeps it on. |

Matthias looks up and his monocle moves a bit. He adjusts it, and then stands up, closing his book and laying it down where he was. He walks forward and begins talking. "Well, I suppose that if we are to begin introducing ourselves - I am Duke Matthias d'Anhath of Heiktan. Have you heard the one condition I bring forward?" he asks, his hands folded behind his back. |

That in the event of a marriage, which is understood to be matrilineal, the second child born of such a union would be the inheritor of the Duchy of Heiktan, and be of the d'Anhath-Nïkhovhen dynasty. This child should be the third if the second dies, or the fourth if the third dies, etc. This child shall be disinherited of Velkand; and those members of the dynasty of Nïkhovhen only shall be disinherited from Heiktan. To help with the difficulty of such an arrangement, this child of d'Anhath-Nïkhovhen shall be given a combined Scourgian-Velkandi education. When they turn 7, it is expected they will make regular visits to Heiktan. The best of wishes to the both of them in any case." He puts the note back in a pocket. |

He claims to be a direct descendant of Arch Richohard's long lost cousin, and does have the general look of the Petersson dynasty. He also claims to be a direct descendant of the first Archia. And of each of the Regarchs. |
