The Scourgian space vessel SSSV [Scourgian Scientific Space Vessel] Freude was recently outfitted with a new warp engine. Radically different from the previous versions, it required extremely powerful magnets and a material not actually found on Universalis Prime, called "Iustinium" by the Scourgii and some of their allies - named after Greater Justinia since the Iustinians discovered it - to work. It did however work, and a stunning Warp 5.7 was reached. Now, planets such as Earth could be reached in only a day or so, rather than excruciating months. Scourge states that it is willing to negotiate a price with other nations to both sell the engine and its blueprints. |
