The Euthrasian government's computers have been hacked by unknown terrorists within the country. Among many other things, it is leaked that the Euthrasian government has spent billions of Credits (Euthrasian currency worth about 1 USD each) on its navy and army recently. Also, a draft for a select number of 18 year olds has been issued for the Marine Corps. There has been much speculation among the UA's population, so the Euthrasian government, in order to protect their reputation, have called upon the world's national delegates to discuss what to do about the information. ((This is the first international RP hosted by me since my return, so huzzah!)) |

"This information leak has revealed that our government has been spending extreme amounts of money recently on military force as well as issuing a draft for some rural parts of the country," says Ivan while pacing. "I just want to assure you that we are not planning anything violent."

I'm sorry, but a nation can spend a lot on the military and win most defensive wars without having a big army. A big army is only needed for offensive wars. A promise is hardly enough." "What if they don't get enough volunteers?" rhetorically asks Willi. Before Nikephoros can say anything, Sir Simin speaks up. "Then they can join the Grand Coalition," she says. "I'm not so keen to hear about a draft either. I can understand high military spending, but a draft is pushing my tolerance." Nikephoros nods. "Also, why do you even need such a large army? The greatest military force near Euthrasia is either Lollerland or Great Scourge, and Lollerland is pacifist while Great Scourge seeks friendly relations." |

Ivan looks at the Scourgii delegates in his office. "We issued a draft, a small draft mind you, to have a better defense than we used to. In the Erreutian war, if it were not for allied support we would have fallen under Communism. I fear that such an event could justify that." He then looks at the other delegates. "The leak was released on the popular website 'Weekly Secrets' where celebrity scandals are usually put at around 12:35 pm today." |
