There has been a long argument between the citizens of Euthrasia and the current government saying that they should have more civil rights. By doing that, they had to be involved in the government themselves rather than electing officials. There will be of course Ministers of the Armed Forces and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, but other than that, the citizens are the ones who submit new bills and pass laws based on what they want. CONSTITUTION OF THE GRAND REPUBLIC OF EUTHRASIA Article I: Regarding Legislation As of October 19th, 2015 the Legislative Branch of Euthrasia has been abolished. Instead, it will be replaced by a new lawmaking body to be known as the House of Distribution. The House will distribute a sign-up sheet for registered voters to become Level II Voters. Level II Voters will have the right to propose new laws to the House of Distribution, and other Level II voters will decide whether or not to approve these laws or not. There shall be two standard political parties, the Federal Party and the Libertarian Party. Every registered voter wanting to be a Level II Voter must choose which party to support. The Federal Party supports the old government, and those who would like the country to be like it used to might consider picking this party. Those who believe that the government should have little to no impact on citizens' personal life should consider joining the Libertarian Party. |

(wait, an official constitutional endorsement of a two party system, AND a constitutional endorsement of party lines? Yeah, doesn't sound like a bad idea at all...) |
