The Velkandi government has not quarantined the surrounding area for such irrational reasons, and instead has done so for a training exercise. This year's dinner's notable speeches include: Archbishop Beelzebane calling for an end to all war, Gutuer Asparg saying "prayer alone will not pull us out of the Long Depression, we need action, and I will take action (many applauded this, including an elderly robed man at the Archbishop's table [his name was Monsignor Benoditus, I think?]), and Cal Minervea praising all the strong women in the pantheon of Catholic saints. |
