Due to the recent Head of State elections in Euthrasia, a member of the Democratic Socialist Party named Boris Ivanov has been pronounced by the People's Congress as the new Premier of Euthrasia. He plans to make a public introduction of himself to the Universal Allegiance in Volovgrad. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Premier Ivanov's Welcoming Ceremony! Please rise for The Internationale." "People of Euthrasia, and the rest of the Universal Allegiance, my name is Premier Boris Ivanov. I will be the head of state for the next 4 years here in our glorious nation and we have a number of new policies the People's Congress is implementing right now that you, the people wanted to have put in place with my Premiership. The first policy is the Patriotic Act. The Act entitles citizens to be more patriotic of their country by supporting military parades, listening to Public Service Radio stations such as Political Realms and attending monthly Citizen Rallies in the main capital plaza of each major city. These rallies are mandatory and will catch all citizens up to speed on the current events of the country as well as the newest policies approved by legislation. There will be plenty of food to be given out, and there will be live entertainment after the announcements performed by the Volovgrad Symphonic Orchestra. The second policy in place is the Leading Comrade Act. This act entitles the Premier, myself, to become the head of the military rather than the Minister of Defense. The current Minister of Defense, Mr. Sokalov, will be reassigned to the Ministry of Immigration and Border Patrol. With the military being in the control of the Premier, there is more incentive to rally behind the face of the people, the current Premier. The third policy is the Foreign Trade Act. This final act entitles the country of Euthrasia to begin foreign trade of exports and imports with all nations in the Universal Allegiance. The policies of Isolationism and self sustainability are no longer, it is 2016 folks, and our economy simply was suffering without the aid of outside sources. This act will open thousands of jobs in the shipping industry both here in Euthrasia and abroad, being an all around beneficial change. "Lay down your weapons or we will be forced to fire upon you!" yell the Euthrasian guards. "STOP THIS MADNESS!" booms Ivanov. "Asparg, leave my country right away. Not just you Asparg, all of you! Consider this a transgression against all of the people of Euthrasia. You will all bow to our banner one day. This is MY country." The guards lower their weapons and urge the delegates to come with them. The lePP agents are urged to lower their weapons and leave with their Prime Minister. |

Meanwhile, all over Euthrasia the Ivanovist flag rises above government facilities and public areas. New loudspeakers are installed nationwide broadcasting propaganda to the populace. Many support Ivanov's authoritarian reform of Euthrasia for his audacity and courage to make such harsh changes. Others despise him for it, and start resistance movements trying to preserve the old way of life in Euthrasia. Riots from these resistance movements break out all over the country and the Ivanov government is criticized internationally. Eventually, the populace is split between fierce supporters of the new regime and revolutionary resistance fighters. Families turn on each other, and talk of civil war is up in the air. It soon becomes clear that Ivanov's plans to spread his influence through Aether are impossible to achieve with both the considerable power of opposing nations in Aether and civil unrest among the population of Euthrasia. The leader of the resistance movement is actually unexpectedly Boris Ivanov's daughter Natasha Ivanov. Natasha has always resented her father for his idea of ruling a country and always hated his ideas when he recommended them in the People's Congress when he was a representative. Now, she was willing to literally die to restore the land to what it was before. The spark of revolution starts with her, now she only needs the fuel to light the fire. That fuel as she sees it is the support of Great Scourge and Yusukistan. She contacts the leaders of the two nations via telegram and pigeon. |

Plasmarian military supplies plus several volunteers flood into the country in secret and are operating from safe houses some dating from the 1930s before the purges of believers in the year 1940. They aim to support resistance movements in the nation. The Plasma Seer Council in public doesn't say anything about it but in private endorse these actions. |

After tense, heated debate and negotiations, the Senate of Great Scourge elects to send economic and diplomatic support only to the rebels for now. Much more important is the Scourgian volunteers, who number in the hundreds but are expected to rise should civil war break out. |
