[This is a succession to Harndar's 'Our Future is Among the Stars', basically detail how your nation has progressed in 20 years and their response to the tragedy and if they had any (ideally similar) tragedies of their own] The year is 2638. 20 years after the Scourgii landed on Neue-Zuhause-für-die-Menscheit, or Neuzuerscheit as some had taken to calling it. The capital, Ruhmmeer, was by now a bustling, ultra-modern metropolis, as were the other ninety-nine cities founded across the planet. The planet was, in fact, too populated in the opinion of many citizens of the Free Territory - and so yet again humanity looked to the stars. The system, called Neue-Sol or Neuol, had another habitable planet, which while smaller and less paradisaical than Neuzuerscheit, had something many people, tired of the segregated megacities of Neuzuerscheit, settled Ewigeheim. A few million families had moved there and many more were there temporarily to help the settlers build a functioning society - over the years the population had increased to 3 billion people, mostly due to further immigration. And so in the May of this year, a luxury starliner holding one thousand people departed to Ewigeheim - some people were immigrants, others were simply visiting family and friends, others were among those simply trying to help the settlers of the planet build up their new home. Flanked by two Durruti Class Frigates and their associated ten fighter-craft, and with plenty of escape-pods, tragedy should not have struck. Yet, of course, fate was tempted - and so tragedy struck these poor souls. On the fifth day of its journey, an assortment of terrorist bombers and fighters attacked the starliner, the frigates, and even the fighters and escape pods and shuttles. The terrorists painted themselves black, gold, and various fiery colours - the ancient colours of the Hyks, an enemy of ancient Scourge. Whilst it is unlikely true feelings for the Hyks existed in this day, the purpose of this was clear - to strike fear in the hearts of the people. The people of the Free Territories were outraged, and so what little government they had went into action to find the culprits and bring them to justice. |

The Yusukite people, still with the memory of the plague that nearly eradicated them in mind, did well amongst the Harndarians. It was discovered that a moon of the new Harndarian homeworld was almost habitable, save for a large amount of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere. A Graecian scientist named Gutuer Asparg VII (a direct descendant of Gutuer Asparg's brother, Suruer) had developed a way to purge the moon's atmosphere of the offending gas. Using "Gutuerligo"'s system, the moon was made habitable and immediately settled by the Yusukites, who named it "Seneca". The Yusukites have expressed sorrow over the Scourgian starliner tragedy, but not too much; considerinf the history between the Yusukites and the Scourgii. One of the few prominent figures among the Yusukites to express a human amount of sorrow over the tragedy was Gutuerligo (who called for the Seneca's provisional government to investigate whether any of the perpetrators where taking refuge on the moon). |
