1395 AD The Grande Kanosian Empire has long ruled over the conquered Kingdoms of Crusadia and Warsama for 30 years. The glory of the former kingdoms are seemingly lost, and the people are in distraught, being conquered by what was a considerable small land. The leader of the empire, Grande Duke Romelus Kanosus, after acquiring the considerable amount of power, decided to place his goals on finally "rebuilding" the lost utopian cities of ancient Kanos, by shoving down the remodified Celestianic religion down peoples' throats. However, Romelus's goals were cut short when his once loyal Xaka Clan, murdered him and took control of House Kanosus, the capital area of the empire. The Xaka Clan had their personal objective of summoning the lock demon Diamors to bring chaos upon Universalis Prime. Soon, Diamor's dreaded Patomic Legions will run havoc across the world, bringing nothing but death and destruction in their path. Prince Marcus, heir to the Kanosian throne, has lost his right to become the next Grande Duke, since the Xaka Clan took control of the Kanosian throne. However, they did have plans to make Marcus a puppet ruler or kill him if he refuted them, but Marcus was smart enough to make an escape before the Xaka clan could take advantage of him. Marcus retreated to Castle Chesinborn, located in Crusadia, laying low to avoid being discovered by Xaka Clan until he can establish his new plans to fix the problem at hand. Prince Marcus has made it his goal to defeat the Xaka Clan, slay Diamors and his Patomic Legions, and find a solution between the disruption between Crusadia, Warsama and Kanosus. "Back in my country, it's mainly the men that can become knights" says Henrick, walking alongside Claudia. He has his shield strapped to his back and his sword and wand on the belt. The spear he has is being used as a hiking stick. |

Two soldiers heading out of the village come accross the two. "Excuse me, travellers" asks one. "We've gained rumors of thieves causing problems in the Urches Woods nearby, we are wondering if you've seen any around here perchance?" |

Okhtoktur, the aging mercenary, was spending his time unwinding at the local inn and minding his own business. He spent it drinking and occasionally dining, mostly just keeping to himself. |

Road to Urcksvil "Ah, I see" replies the Soldier. "Please, if you do, tell one of the soldiers or knights in the village, we are on high alert. Especially since Prince Marcus is getting ready to embark on his quest, we can't have him be disrup-" "Don't tell them that!" interrupts the other soldier, not being very trusting of Claudia and Henrick. ------ Village Inn While Okhtoktur is minding his own business, a Knight and a small group of guards enter the inn. "Alright everyone!" yells the Knight. "I am Sir Jeegin of Castle Chesinborn, I hereby have the authority to inspect this area for thieves." |

Okhtoktur seems to not have much a care in the world, and waits for any knight or soldier to come over and inspect him as per the usual. He wasn't going to be aggressive, and would generally kick back to keep to himself over in the corner. |

The soldiers continue walking down the road. As they continue walking, the finally reach the village. ----- Urcksvil Inn The Knight is unsure how to make a response, so he continues with what he was going to say. "What is your purpose of staying at this village, are you seeking to meet the prince?" |

"I'm a mercenary. I like gold a whole lot. Princes have gold. When they go on their crusades, they bring their gold with them. Since I as a mercenary like gold, I follow where the gold is. The prince has his gold, and if I get gold, I'll follow unquestioningly," Okhtoktur gave his concise explanation for being there for the knight. |

No one in the Inn stares or harasses Claudia, although it's mainly because no-one wants to be seen doing anything suspicious in front of Sir Jeegin and his men. Jeegin turns to Claudia and Henrick. "I suppose you two are looking for the prince as well?" |
